Increasing our Supply Requires Practice

How often have we heard our teachers, mentors and those we trust tell us that the key to having more requires a different set of beliefs?  I couldn’t agree more, however, I also know that for the Spiritual aspirant, prayer comes into play.  Which is what I want to look at today.

Each one of us in our own way has thought about, dreamed about, and quite possibly prayed about our lives being richer; filled with greater supply, and endless joy.  And I wonder if what we have experienced is a sense of being hypnotized by what our teachers, mentors and those trusted friends or coaches, have supplanted within our thought process.

Most of our beliefs are a combination of what someone (whether it’s our parents, teachers, friends, and mentors) has told us, mixed with our own intuition (usually through some wild trial and error system), and what our imagination has dreamed up as being possible.  (I say being possible because all dreams carry with it an implication that we are present in the dream.)

But how many of us truly would like to prosper and increase our supply?  And as far as I can discern, there is only one sure method…practice.  Not just any kind of practice either…but consistent practice!  WE MUST PRACTICE THE TRUTH!

First, let me say that practice of the Truth is hard work.   We have all seen some masters of financial success demonstrate greater wealth and prosperity.  The television and Internet are filled with success stories and each one of these methods claim their fruitage.

Even with Jesus at the mountain when he is said to have fed the multitudes with very little supply, there were people said to have been traveling with him…studying with him…practicing with him…yet how many of them were capable of demonstrating supply in his fashion.  (This is not to make an exception out of Jesus…this is simply an example to demonstrate a point.)

Most of us practice at the level of the followers and not of our mentors, teachers, masters, or any other person that may be demonstrating around us.  And it is true…it is much easier to be fed by our masters, or to have our mentors or teachers do our work for us; but that is their demonstration not ours.  We can at that point, only have what they can create for us.  What if we could create at a higher or greater level?  Wouldn’t we be missing out on an increase of supply if we only relied on others?

Just like those that followed Jesus, we may have sat at the feet (or a desk or an office) of someone that could demonstrate supply, and teach us how, and yet, once we leave their sight…we fail to practice.  We cannot practice beyond our current awareness within our consciousness.  During their tutelage we rely on their consciousness because we doubt the power within our own.

This is important because it demonstrates a level of practice not merely practical but ingrained in our consciousness.  If we are to increase our supply we must change our practices.  We must begin to do “our” work

“To have what we never have had before…we must do what we never have done before!”

Our consciousness gets saturated by the impress of the world around us, and if we are to change our patterns and our practices, then we must become aware of what we believe about what the world is telling us.  To achieve greater influx of supply we must maintain a consciousness that is high above the mesmerism of the world around us.

I have found that the Truth makes people uncomfortable…at least those people who aren’t searching for the Truth.  But what we do find is that as we begin to understand and live from a place of Truth (that there is an unlimited supply of Good available to everyone) and more to the spiritual way of life…we become less and less interested in the ways of the world.

And what are the ways of the world?

  • Spend more
  • Save less
  • Earn more
  • Shop until you drop
  • On sale this week only
  • If you have this you will be…
  • Live for today

The practice of Truth applies to every activity and condition of our lives.  We are practicing the Truth that we believe in every moment of the day.  And this is where prayer may be helpful.

  • Don’t pray for things…say “thank you” for what you already have.
  • Don’t pray to be prosperous…say “my source of supply is endless.”
  • Don’t pray that God will help you…know that God is “Grace” active in your life.
  • Don’t pray to be healed…claim your Wholeness.
  • Don’t pray to receive…be willing to give.
  • Don’t pray for a miracle…announce you are your own miracle.

When we move to this avenue of understanding and acceptance, it becomes easier to see the demonstration of our prayers.  This occurs because from this level of activity in our awareness there is a measuring stick in our consciousness.   Those things that used to tempt us, knocking us out of our sincere practice, no longer have dominion over us.  We no longer have a desire for things to satisfy us or fulfill us.  We already are familiar with the effects they produce.

In the beginning, things that we would see, grabbed our attention and we were easily moved away from our goals; our practice reverted back to the ways of the world.  Now, with our eyes seeing clearly, our minds genuinely renewed, we consciously take the steps that support our forward movement, and suddenly we discover that our supply has increased.

This is intentionally created to demonstrate some of the content of “Making the Connection to Supply: Making sense of financial success in a spiritualized fashion,” a course on living from the Infinite Source within.

Is There a Secret to Increasing Supply?

In life, it seems as if everything requires something.  Have you ever noticed that everything we enjoy (and even those things we may no longer enjoy) always have some catch to them, or some price tag?

In every day vernacular we say, “There are no free lunches.”. And Universally this works in complete alignment with the Law of Reciprocity.  (For those of you reading this going “what did he just say?”…reciprocity simply means…equal corresponding action…what goes out comes back).

Every one of us have seen people that have more than us, or maybe we know people that seem to get what they desire easier than us.  I know for me, I certainly have made some very clear advances to acquiring and achieving.  And for a long time, I had to work real hard to get what I desired.  (Can you imagine not having to work hard and still have ample supply?). Then one day, a realization occurred, and what I discovered is that there is a guaranteed method to increasing supply.

For most of us, when we learn something like this, we think, “Why didn’t I learn this sooner?” and we follow it up with, “it would have made my life so much easier.”  But, the truth is, we weren’t ready.  We hadn’t developed the skill to navigate certain emotional attachments and selfish desires.  (and we still may have work to do in these areas!)

What I would like to do is offer two questions for you to ponder, before giving you the secret to Infinite Supply.  And if you are willing to sit with these questions, and respond to this blog, I will continue with delivering the Goods.  Are you game?

Question number one:

  • Do you have a plan for your life?

If you don’t have a plan, then there is absolutely no need to increase your supply.  You are probably having all the fun and enjoyment you can stand right now in your life.  Anything else would be an intrusion so stay with what you know!

Question number two:

  • In what manner would you assist others in finding their own freedom without imposing your wealth or wisdom on them, if you knew the secret to Infinite Supply?

Our plan must include bringing greater freedom and joy to all others on this planet without thinking about ourselves first.  And yet, the real task here is, it can only happen by allowing others to find their own way.  Any imposition of our understanding, whether through gentle coaxing or by demand, immediately removes us from our own supply.

When we think we know what someone else needs or what would help someone else…we limit our own supply because we have a belief in lack.  When we see lack, we experience lack.

Helping others through non-intrusive measures (which also means that praying for their greater well being becomes a violation of the Law of Supply) may be the most difficult task in achieving and maintaining our own supply.  Yet, if we only use Supply for ourselves, we remove ourselves from that ongoing experience and very shortly we find ourselves short of supply.

In a course that I have created, I go over all the methods to maintain our contact with Infinite Supply.  But more importantly, what we discover in this class is how to make our contact with Supply.

A few points that are covered:

  • Our invisible talents are what become visible.
  • Supply is embodied within us and we must express it.
  • Our demonstration of supply matches our ability to receive.
  • Never believe that you can help anyone.  (You are seeing them as broken, injured, limited, lacking or impoverished,)
  • Finding value in Truth comes from realizing the Truth.
  • Moving beyond yesterday is what enables us to truly live today.
  • If money is what we are after, then for us to become rich we must think rich thoughts!
  • Moving beyond the idea that more money will fix today’s problems, or that more money will bring us greater freedom or greater happiness—we learn that only the realization of God can supply. (thereby removing money from the position of Infinite Supply!)
  • How our choices are playing out in our experiences. (and learning what choices may provide greater benefits for all of life)
  • To live a life that no longer seeks to find Supply, or to achieve greater Supply. (and to understand that it is an inside job)

These are some of the topics (and there are many others) that we will dive into and open ourselves up to experience together in the coming weeks.

Now for those of you that may possess all the wisdom of the Universe (you know who you are!) I am inviting you to participate with us as we move forward in the weeks ahead, because it will be a great honor for all of us to come together and experience Life as One and for us to share in what great gifts you possess.

Each of us are here to unlock and unravel the mysteries that we have kept bottled up within us.  If we can’t do this for one another and with one another, then what is life going to become in future generations?

If Infinite Supply is ours today, right now, and all we have to do is come together to express it, then what are we waiting for?

Decide to Live Your Life

Decide to Live Your Life

Here in this moment, as I reflect on today, there remains that unsettled sense of incompleteness.

Now I don’t know about you, but I never feel as if I have actually accomplished everything I would have liked to today.  It’s no big thing…I am used to this feeling…actually…I can’t escape it.

Is my list too long?  Do I over-extend my desires by thinking that more needs to get done?  Or…am I just a creative individual that inherently “knows” that I am limitless possibility without the current ability to demonstrate it?

What holds us back from “being” who we came here to be?

How many of us spend more time skirting around the edges of our consciousness, avoiding the destiny that we “know” we came here to fulfill?  If you are thinking I am talking about pre-destiny…I am not.  I am pointing toward that greater fulfillment that lives within each one of us and that contains the perfect evolution of our “sole journey”.

Each of us has within us, an inescapable splendor;   a version of perfection for our own life that cannot fulfill anyone or anything else.  It is specifically ours.  We are individually and uniquely aligned with eternity for the path of evolution that we so eagerly have taken this physical form to express.

Each of us know what we came here to do, but we play a game that we “don’t know” so that we can uncover the Truth about ourselves, and discover what it is.  Funny…then once we realize that we knew and we see that we were playing this game…then we spend the rest of our physical lives trying to recover from having resisted the inevitable—our individual destiny.

How many of us have taken jobs we didn’t want?  Or married partners because we thought this would fulfill us?  Or…how many of us are sitting lonely tonight…unsure of who or what will come and bring with them or it, our eternal satisfaction?  “I WANT TO BE SATISFIED!”  is the internal mantra…invisible to the cognizant mind…but ongoing in the subjective/subconscious mind.  And so we set out again to attempt another task, add another item to the list, seek another mate…a new career…or purchase something to feel contentment.

How long shall we deny our True Beingness?  How long shall we deny that for all of eternity we have never been anything more than what we are right now?  What savior, what pill, what job, what partner, what school, what faith, what organization, what party, what reality can bring what we are into focus?

The answer is simple:  DECIDE.  Just DECIDE.  It’s all in your mind…all of it.  We live as Infinite Beings capable of endless potential and it is all only a decision away. Only a decision away.

Want the life you came here to live?  Decide to have it!

But there is more…(I know…this is when it gets ugly)…you, me, we…have to take action.  Our life only moves forward by first, deciding, and secondly…following that decision with a corresponding action.  We are a law unto our own being.  And following the Laws of the Universe, anytime we put something new in, and then accept this to be the new Truth…something new must be created.

Let’s do this now.  Think about it.  What have you got to lose?  (Only your life.)

I am more than what you see

Who I am is more than what you see.

I am crossing the street headed toward you in the crosswalk, briefly our eyes meet, and something inside you reads me, defines me, puts me in some category in your mind, and then one of two things happen:  you judge me or you dismiss me.

I don’t notice you.  The fact that our eyes briefly landed upon each other’s, may or may not mean anything to me, but who I am is more than what you see.

Inside this fleshly form is an inescapable infinite beingness.  A magnificence.  A brilliance that is giving light to my eyes.  There is a realization within me that recognizes everything and everyone, and just like you, all that I see is also put into a category or dismissed.  Who you are is more than I can see.

As I look around and become aware of other forms of life around me, suddenly I see with new clarity, something inside of me recognizes the very essence of All.  Right before me again is that inescapable invisible yet somehow, though my eyes cannot see, I do recognize it.  I feel as if everything is aware of my ability to see through into the reality of being, and then I wonder…is everyone else having this experience?  Who besides me knows that I am more than what they see?

You see, it’s compelling.  What if each of us could all read each other’s inner most thoughts and desires and see that we are all just playing…”I am more than what you see?”

How would you be in the world if you knew that each of us is more than just what you see?

Because…I am more than what you see…and what I see in you…may be more than what you see in me.

Have you ever been judged for something and you knew you were being judged?

This has happened to me many times…so much now that I think I am beginning to expect it on some level.  Now what I have discovered is that much of the feeling of being judged has a lot to do with the unhealed awareness of our own shortcomings.

We all have a past but not all of us have dealt with the pain and upset, or the disgust and embarrassment of actions we may have expressed out into the world.  Much of our pain and sorrow, depression and anger lie at the helm of carrying around with us unhealed areas of our lives.  And so, the feeling of being judged is nothing more than our own ideas about ourselves being brought forward for healing.

Every time we have an opportunity to “see” one of these unhealed areas and we choose to project that feeling onto the moment (or someone else), we get that feeling.  You know the one, the one that says, “I am more than what you see.”

So the statement stands true.  I am more than what you see…I am the unhealed stuff and the pure holistic self made up of infinite beingness…perfect, whole and complete.  I am a tangled hierarchy of experience, thought and desire.  I am the dichotomy of perfect imperfection out picturing as life not fully expressed.  Yes…I am more than what you see.

We all are…and yet…becoming more and more every moment.
