Getting Free Through Faith

What do you do when your Life doesn’t feel right?   How many times must we make the same mistakes over and over?  If this seems to be something that you experience, then this blog has something for you:  A change.

When we are troubled by the onslaught of distractions, or when our bodies just don’t want to move anymore, or maybe it’s something as simple as not getting enough cash to pay the bills,  and you just can’t see a way out, then what you may need is a shot of FAITH.

July is just around the corner, and we start this month off by celebrating independence from foreign rule.  We should think about that for a moment and just breathe…breathe…so that we fully remember that not that long ago, our country was ruled by another country on another continent and this is simply a metaphor for outer ideas and experiences ruling our experience.

How long has it been since someone or something ruled your thoughts?  Maybe it was something that someone said to you or didn’t say, or a car cut you off on the freeway, or someone stole your parking spot, or maybe it’s just that old reality cycling back and back and back, to show you where your faith is operating in fear.

We lose touch with our senses by emotional reactions to patterns that have existed within us for longer than we may remember.  And due to the very nature of an emotional upset, a disturbance in our harmony takes place, and when this happens, a follow-up action arises.  We could say, it’s our GO TO BEHAVIOR.

Breaking the cycle from reaction to reaction can be easily achieved with these simple rules:

  • Never go to bed angry or mad at yourself, your significant other, or anyone.
  • Never eat because you are upset or bored.
  • Never tell yourself you are not worthy of something.
  • Never choose being alone over the company of a friend.
  • Never call someone to tell them your story, call someone you know loves you for who you are.
  • Never enter into a discussion to make someone else wrong.
  • Never tell someone else what they need when you can’t help yourself first, and finally . . .
  • Never deny that everything you need to know about Life is already contained within you.

Our answers to the greater events in Life are simply an opportunity to demonstrate that we KNOW the Truth.   “If we desert the Truth in our time of need, simple means that we never knew the Truth in the first place.”  There is something there within each of us that really has our greater interest in mind, and we can tap into it.

Many psychologies point to the E-G-O as something evil and destructive and that quite possibly might be out to kill us.  This is viewing that part of us that actually wants to guide us and direct us, but has been improperly raised and is commonly considered E-dging G-od O-ut.  What if it really was here and it is designed to be used for our greater enhancement of Life and all we need is a slight adjustment?

Because we began with the idea of freedom, freedom from damaging experiences, if we could just make the shift to view the ego as:
E-mploying G-od’s O-mniscience, our lives would then be under the rule of that which brings with it the potentiality for greatness.  The smooth unfoldment of the greater-yet-to-be that we are all destined to achieve.

Pray, meditate, and take an active part in being a good listener.

The Power of our own Inner Truth is always at our beckon call.

In-Joy and Celebration,

When our lives change direction

In our lives we will undoubtedly experience numerous changes.  There are those that occur through our childhood rites of passage.  Then we may experience the emergence of creating a family.  We change jobs.  We change our looks.  We change numerous ways and numerous times.  But what stays the same in a world of constant change?

Realizing the value in change
The best thing that I can think of for us to experience in our lives is change.  Yet, this is the most uncertain experience we have in life.  It’s uncertain simply due the fact that when change comes about, we just don’t know what to expect.  And for many of us, we prefer to know what’s coming up.

Our participation with life requires us to try to control conditions and situations, but change just doesn’t seem to fit into this.  But it does!  What if you could learn to effect your change and have the desired outcome despite the fact that typically, change has always been elusive as to what may be the final outcome?

Calculating and creating the outcomes
We have at our command a Law that is ready to completely create anything that is put into it.  But do you know what that Law is and how it works?  It’s the Law of Mind, and it responds by corresponding.  There is a Law in the Universe that responds to our thoughts, words and deeds.  And it responds according to what we believe about our thoughts, words and deeds.

The best way to calculate the outcome of the Law of Mind is to have a clear mental picture of the thing we desire to experience.  This is called a mental equivalent.  When we experience anything it is because we have a clear mental equivalent.  All of our experiences in life are a direct result of the mental equivalent we hold.

If we want to experience something different than what we are currently experiencing, then all we have to do is change our mental equivalent.

The things we can do to change our mental equivalents:

  • Call and talk to a practitioner.
  • Get and buy a book about the mental equivalent.
  • Take classes at a Religious Science Church.
  • Utilize a spiritual practice called “visioning”.
  • Begin to see yourself in a different way.
  • Change what you say about your current experience of life.
  • Take action steps toward learning a different way of doing things.

Are you an unsatisfied customer of life?

When life doesn’t return to you what believe you deserve…are you an unsatisfied customer of life?

How many of us at times have cried or whimpered because we thought we deserved more than what we received?

Can we see how we are playing small by not being a grateful receiver?  When we receive something it is only because we have first demonstrated the desire for something…through that we have created a mold which the Universe can form itself into the perfect representation of that.  With this we should remember that there are more elements at play than just our idea of need.  We infuse our needs with a semblance of passion filled with intention and mixed with a subjective pattern of lack.

While all this comes into play, the Universal Law of reciprocity matches these elements and goes about to create an identical replication of this belief.  It creates a flawless original because there is only the activity of perfect action always in operation.

While this is true, as soon as we put a new idea in, the mold is altered and with each new input the mold is altered again.  Raymond Charles Barker said that this is a fluidic creation always molding itself to our desires intentions and feelings.

If we aren’t satisfied customers then our only recourse is to change what we are feeling, intending, and desiring.

The math is simple.  Change one small thing and the whole thing changes.  We don’t have to go after such a dramatic change as to totally recreate ourselves…just take a step in a new direction and you will immediately find yourself moving in a new direction.  When we do, we shall have a new found love for life.  Then, you may be providing yourself an opportunity to become a happy customer in the journey of life.  Give it a try.  What have you got to lose but that old stinking experience you weren’t happy with anyway?
